Fundraiser!

The CSULB Society of Women Engineers is having a fundraiser on Wednesday, November 18th, from 5PM - 9PM at BJ's Restaurant on Belmont Shore. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward attending the Women Engineers Annual Convention next year. Please present the attached flyer; flyers can also be picked up from room EN2-102. Thank you for your help!

Points System

Participate to Win!


Similar to last semester, this semester we will have a points system by which you can earn points by attending meetings, events, and volunteering. The member with the most points will receive a $200 gift card to the bookstore. The member with the second most points will receive a $100 gift card, and third most will receive something from the Conference to be announced.

Point system:
  •  5  points for attending a SWE weekly meeting and signing in
  • 15 points for going to an on-campus event
  • 25 points for going to an off-campus event
  • 50 points for volunteering at an event for two hours
  • 25 points for volunteering at an event for less than two hours
  • 40 points for attending the annual conference

Pinkberry Fundraiser

SWE will be having a Fundraiser at Pinkberry on Thursday, October 8, 2009. It simple as 1-2-3. 1. Print out the flyer. 2. Go to PinkBerry on 2nd St. in Long Beach and buy some yogurt. 3. Give them the flyer when you pay and 25% of your total purchase will be donated back to the Society of Women Engineers.
