The College of Engineering Recruitment and Retention is helping to sponsor a week long summer program for ten 8th grade girls. The girls will be attending lectures and activities related to the different engineering disciplines. It would be great for them to talk to actual engineering students and ask questions. SWE will be hosting an ice cream social for the girls Wednesday, June 23 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the dorms (exact location will be sent out later). Please email president@csulbswe.org if you would like to attend.

SWE National Membership Renewal

posted Jun 22, 2010 10:41 AM by Webmaster CSULB SWE   [ updated Jun 22, 2010 10:42 AM ]

As the fiscal year comes to an end, it’s time to renew your National SWE Membership. If you are not a national member this is the best time to join! If you have 2 or more years of college left we recommend  you take advantage of the new C2C (Collegiate to Career) membership program which is a $50 due, but covers you for every year you are in college and your first year as a professional. The other option is to pay a yearly collegiate membership with a due of $20. To become a national member of SWE go to www.swe.org. For more info on C2C, go to http://societyofwomenengineers.swe.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=940&Itemid=277
