Volunteer for SWE National Conference

Interested in participating in the Society of Women Engineers National Conference this year? It is being held at the Long Beach Convention Center  the week of Oct. 12, officially being Oct. 15 - 17, 2009.

If you would like to participate in this event (through volunteering or other activities) please email president@csulbswe.org, and include your name, email address, and which days or times you are available, or whether there is anything you do/ do not want to do by June 27. Since we are a hosting section, they can process our request as a group.

This is a GREAT opportunity, and we HIGHLY encourage all members to attend. By volunteering, conference fees will be paid for.

SWE-LA Professional Devlopment Conference

Los Angeles Professional Section of SWE is hosting their professional development conference entitled, Leveraging Your Leadership Potential. The event will be held Friday, June 26, 2009 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the UCLA Lindbrook Center. The cost is $15 for students. You can register on-line at www.swela.org.
