    Spring Internship and Job Fair

Thursday, Feb 25 12:00pm - 4:00pm | USU Ballroom

There will be over 115 companies present in this upcoming internship/job fair; many of which are looking for engineering majors. Come with your resume and interview game ready! This is a great chance to not only find out more about companies, but also to network with professionals. Don’t forget to wear formal attire!

    SWE+NSBE General Body Meeting with SCE

SWE will be collaborating with NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) on our next general body meeting featuring Southern California Edison. This informational session will cover the different career opportunities available and give you a chance to connect with Edison’s hiring manager. Food will be provided!

    OCHYCC Workshops - STEM Roundtable

The Orange County Hispanic Youth Chamber of Commerce is holding professional workshops meant to prepare students for the professional world and help them build an exclusive elite network as well as get access to scholarships and internships. Attend this upcoming STEM roundtable to get involved and benefit from the program! Check out the flyer attached for more info.

Graduating members, the bookstore will be holding this exclusive fair to get all your graduation stuff covered! Order your cap & gown here and get answers to any questions you might have about commencement.

    Engineering Girls at the Beach Day  

Friday, Mar 18 7am - 3pm

SWE is having our annual outreach event, EG@BD, where we invite 150 elementary school girls to come on campus and introduce them to STEM through various workshops hosted by faculties. We are currently looking for volunteers to help make this event possible! Contact Ijya at if you would like to be a part of this great event!


 Volunteering Opportunities with the Youth Center

The Youth Center aims to support the community by linking volunteers to volunteering opportunities in the Los Alamitos area. Opportunities range from refereeing youth games to shelving and organizing books and food. Sign up here.

 Volunteer for MESA Days!

Remember to sign up for the upcoming MESA Junior/Senior days! This event aims to promote STEM to younger students and their parents through fun activities and workshops. Check out the flyer attached for details and contact us if you’d like to volunteer with SWE for these events! The first event will be on Saturday, March 12 from 8am to 2pm.
