Engineering Girls at the Beach Day

Friday, Mar 18 7am - 3pm

SWE is having our annual outreach event, EG@BD, where we invite 150 elementary school girls to come on campus and introduce them to STEM through various workshops hosted by faculties. We are currently looking for volunteers to help make this event possible! Contact Ijya at if you would like to be a part of this great event!

 Rube Goldberg Project Update

We have now started the building process! If you like to be creative and build stuff, it’s not too late to join in. The Rube Goldberg machine involves using common everyday things in an overly complicated arrangement in order to accomplish a simple task. The goal of the competition this year is to open an umbrella. The building process will kick off tomorrow, Wednesday March 2, from 2-3pm and will continue on Friday March 4 from 12-1pm at EN2 102.  Email La La for any questions or concerns at

 SWE Gear

Get your SWE gear! If you missed the chance to pre-order our newly designed T-shirts, don’t worry! You can now buy your very own SWE-et shirts in our office at EN2 102 starting Wednesday March 2nd. It’s only $13 for SWE members and $15 for non-members. Come check them out!
