Engineering Girls @ The Beach Day 

SWE will be hosting their annual outreach event Engineering Girls @ The Beach Day and  we are looking for volunteers! The event hosts more than 200 Elementary and Middle School girls and we could use all the help we could get. Volunteers are split into two categories which include: 
  • ChaperoneWill be assigned to a group of students and will be their leader for the day. ( all day volunteers) 
  • ExtraSet-up, Clean-up, Serve Lunch, and possibly assist in workshops.

The first 20 all-day volunteers are guaranteed a free shirt! All volunteers get a free lunch as well!

E-week is officially over but we would like to thank all those who participated and helped out SWE. We really appreciate it and hope to continue working as a team! 


College of Engineering 2015 Scholarships: 

Did you know there are over 70 scholarships designated for engineers. All it takes is one application to apply and you will automatically be considered for all the ones you qualify for. Scholarships range from $500-$2500. Last day to submit an application is February 26, 2015 by 4:00pm. For more information see attachments. 

After College Scholarships: 

Deadline: March 31, 2015 

*AfterCollege Engineering Student Scholarship $500

Open to currently enrolled students working toward a degree in a field of engineering.Link 

*Aerospace Corporation Science and Engineering Student Scholarship- $500

Open to currently enrolled students working toward a degree (BA, BS, MS, PhD) in the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, information systems, and mathematics. Link

STEM Inclusion Scholarship - $500

Open to students working toward a degree in a field of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics from a group underrepresented in their field of study.Link
