Why did you pick your major?

"Engineering was used in creating almost everything we use and touch every single day. After I volunteered at the hospital during my junior year of high school, I realized how much engineering save lives and how much people are affected by it. This major is more than learning how to design, analyze, and construct; it impacts the lives of others. "

What is your favorite course?

"Currently, my favorite class is Math 370A. I’ve always liked math (except Calc II) and prefer it over reading. "

Why are you in SWE?

"Society of Women Engineers is a club that I feel the most comfortable in. I joined SWE last year as a freshman and became a shadow for the Outreach Chair. We all lift each other up and as a new officer, I’ve felt immense support from this amazing team of officers. Because of SWE, I’ve found a group of new friends and a club that I’m proud to be a part of!"

Advice for women in STEM:

"Don't underestimate yourself and apply for the positions you think are outside your skill level! Challenge your limits and you'll be surprised where you'll end up."
